Selby to face unbeaten Simon on July 13

British and Commonwealth featherweight champion Lee Selby (15-1) will face unbeaten Romanian Viorel Simon (16-0) on Betfair's 'The Homecoming' bill at the MS3 Craven Park in Hull on July 13, live on Sky Sports.

Selby switches from the Bolton show on June 29 to the outdoor show two weeks later, which is topped by the debut of Luke Campbell MBE.

The 31-year-old Simon won the WBC International featherweight title in July 2011 and has defended it twice since. He has travelled away from his native Romania on two ocassions - a split decision points win over eight rounds in Canada against Mexican Pedro Navarrete and a trip to spain in 2007, when he stopped Columbian Euclides Espitia in the fourth of six rounds.

Welshman Selby claimed the British and Commonwealth  titles in style when stopping Stephan Smith in 2011, and has defended against John Simpson, Martin Lindsey, PatrickOkine and Corey O'Connell.

Luke Campbell's dedut is also supported by the Welterweight rematch between Sheffield's Kell Brook and American Carson Jones, Scouser Derry Mathews against Hull's Tommy Coyle for the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title, plus English super middleweight champion Rocky Fielding, unbeaten Islington middleweight John Ryder, Driffield's Troll Hunter, Curtis Woodhouse and local talents Joel Haigh and Zak Collins.
