British light middleweight contender Brian Rose (21-1-1) will take on durable Bulgarian Alexey Ribchev (14-6-1) at the Bolton Arena on June 29.

Rose will be looking to establish himself on the world scene after he successfully stepped up in class when stopping Joachim Alcine in April in his last outing.

The fight is part of a huge undercard on the show headlined by Garvin Rees v Anthony Crolla, live on Sky Sports.

Rose was supposed to be fighting Australian Anthony Mundine for the 'Interim' WBA title but it fell through and now faces Ribchev, who is coming off two succussive losses and on paper looks an easy fight, though he has never been stopped.

The bill will also feature unbeaten super bantamweight Scott Quigg in a 10-round contest, while there are also outings for young upstarts Tom Stalker and Martin J Ward.
