Froch-Groves set for November 23 in Manchester
Carl Froch (31-2) will defend his IBF/WBA super middleweight titles against unbeaten George Groves (19-0) at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester on November 23.
It will be the first time both have boxed since Froch decisioned Mikkel Kessler at the end of May.
Groves stopped Noe Gonzalez Alcoba on the chief support to that fight but had been calling out Britain's number one long before that night at the 02 Arena.
"I'm delighted to bring this event to Manchester on November 23," said promoter Eddie Hearn.
"This 'battle of Britain' is a fascinating fight between a true legend of British boxing in Carl Froch and a superb young talent in George Groves, it's going to be some atmosphere, some occasion. Phone lines, Twitter and emails haven't stopped since we confirmed the fight."
