Guerrero firearm charges dropped
Six-time and four division world champion Robert Guerrero appeared in New York state supreme court for Queens County where all firearm charges were dismissed in connection with his March 28 arrest at the John F Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Guerrero, 30, pled guilty to disorderly conduct, a violation and not a crime, was fined $250 and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service which he will be allowed to perform in his home state of California.
And Guerrero (31-2-1) won't be going to jail, and won't be spending valuable time out of the boxing world. When arrested Guerrero had been in New York for a media appearance to promote his May 4 fight with Floyd Mayweather, which he lost by unanimous decision in Las Vegas.
