Quigg gets a Brazilian at Bolton Arena next weekend
Unbeaten super bantamweight Scott Quigg (25-0-1) will meet Brazilian William Prado (21-3-1) in his first fight under the promotional guidance of Matchroom, at the Bolton Arena next weekend.
Quigg's last outing was a 6th round TKO victory over former world title challenger Rendall Munroe in November last year. He returns after enduring a frustrating wait while ticking over in the gym.
Although Prado has been much busier than Quigg, two of his three career losses came last year on his travels - unanimous decision losses to Paulus Ambunda in Nambia and Jeremy Parodi in France - before he notched up two wins in his native Brazil.
Quigg said "I'll look him up, see what he's about and these are the sort of opponents you learn from. It's going to be a good fight."
